Paintings

Pour paintings are created with acrylic paint and are a marriage of chance and control. I utilize the effects of gravity as I turn my canvas around from many angles and let the paints flow into one another. I then enhance the design by adding multi-media “touches” to what was created.
My mixed media paintings are created in the same way as my doodle designs but have the addition of texture. They allow dimensional effects as they do not have to be under glass and this opens the door to textural enhancements with multi-media applications. The compositions use repeating colors and patterns for cohesiveness and interest.
